The Dumb and the Dumber

Recently, i started watching a very famous game show called KBC II. This show was once hosted by Big B. Now, King khan is hosting it in his own charm and style. However, there are few pitfalls in this new version of the game. There are many questions asked from the hindi serials and hindi movies. I could not understand the logic behind these questions or how the IQ of a person is determined? For example, there is a question like this...

What is the nick name of Kareena Kapoor in the movie kabhi kushi kabhi gham?
well ... what kind of question is this? which GK book is going give the answer for this question? well, is this what is called thinking "out of the box" means?

But, this blog is inspired by some other special episode of the same game show.

It was a holi special episode. the episode was played by two most intellectual properties of the bollywood cinema, namely Ms. Preity Zinta and Ms. Rani Mukherjee.

The way the game show was conducted that day made me think that probably it was some kind of spoof :) May be a spoof show would have been much better than that.

There was a question:
Which of the following person was not born on the Indian Independence day?
There were four options ... Ms. Mukherjee consulted Ms. Zinta about the options...

To make the converstation lively, Mr. Khan asked a DUMB question, why do you think the answer is A. Napolean... Can there be a dumb question like this? The answer was [A. Napolean] because he was not born on the day of Indian Independence. But, hang on, if you consider this as dumb, the dumber response is yet to come...

Ms. Mukherjee with her charismatic smile gave the answer, "Because he is Napolean"...wow, what a great response :0

Probably GOD asked her the question if she needs brain or something else...and our contestant might have clearly asked for anything other than the something called brain! might be, who knows?
